In this episode, we talk with Liana Soifer, a transracial adoptee born in South Korea and raised in Oregon. Liana is the co-founder and Executive Director of BIPOC Adoptees, a non-profit whose mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for BIPOC adoptees. The organization aims to provide a platform for sharing stories, building connections, and accessing adoptee-centered programming and resources. Through innovative approaches to community, education, and care, BIPOC Adoptees addresses the systemic disregard of adoptees and works to build power within the adoptee community.
